Ben Bickley is an upcoming artist, singer and songwriter. Playing in a pop folk style with and without the accompaniment of loop pedal and effects station, he originated from Nottingham where from a young age of 15 he started gigging. Since then, he has been working his way through bars, weddings, festivals, parties and concerts, with a repertoire of both original material and covers.

 

Now fashioning his own artistry more than ever, he is currently working on a new EP release, with brand new songs on the way. He excels in creating new sounding authentic songs to highlight the lyricism in his writing, and cleverly layers vocal and guitar harmonies to portray the true emotion of his story telling.

After playing as an acoustic trio all over the East Midlands for two years prior to a musical education, he began to focus on original material whilst studying a BA (Hons) in Popular Music at Leeds College of Music. After graduating with a First classification degree in 2016, he now performs in both West Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire with plans to move further afield to Manchester, Liverpool and London.
